Got this as a gift for my girlfriend. It seems well constructed. It packs down well and the ropes it included seem decent. Definitely worth it for the price
I was quite impressed with this hammock compared to similiar ones that are twice the price. We set the hammock up in the sunroom area, because its freezing here in maine. It is very comfortable and roomy for being a single. My girlfriend is actually using it right now, reading a book. It comes with tree straps and all the necessary items for a fast setup. It is also very durable. I am 195 and some of the hammocks ive tried in the past have made a little noise ( cloth pulling apart). the triple stitching is very evident....It is a handy, self contained unit that will give you years of camping fun.....I will be purchasing another for my girlfriend.

Excellent design; on par with ENO. You can add extra knots to the attach ropes to make hanging the hammock easier. Also, the Fox Outfitter's single hammock is the same size (or larger) than the ENO double.

I took this out for an overnighter with a group of friends up in Monte Cristi. They all had Enos and swear by them. This hammock is the exact same, but less dollas. Great product, love it. Only thing I'd do different is get the double. The single is fine but the double makes it more comfy.

Light and comfortable. Easy to setup. You might need to pick up some other straps and you definitely need to pickup a silnylon tarp.
I always thought the whole hammock experience was too complicated. But it was a breeze to setup. I paired it with my tarp and it was a great night's sleep.
My biggest problem is my 13yo has claimed rights to the hammock. At this price I don't mind picking up another one.

First off, the colors are AWESOME on this hammock. I don't have anything else in this color combo so it will be easy to find. I was slightly (slightly) disappointed at the weight of this product as it was declared to be 15 ounces, but with rope and carabiners, it tops off at 21.5 ounces. Every ounce counts when you're dragging your gear out on the trail. Though it's dead of winter here, I tested it out inside and I can let it go because it's so comfortable.
The owner of the store sent me an email inviting me to write a review so I said why not, because usually that doesnt happen.
The hammock arrived on time and with everything it said it would come with. Nothing wrong with it.
Ive been sleeping on it for the past 7 days since i hung it up in my room. I would say for backpacking, theres probably lighter hammocks out there but you really cant beat the $50 dollar price tag. This is VERY narrow. Although this is my first hammock, i still feel like this is a narrow fit. i am 6 feet tall, 165 pounds and rather muscular so up top im a little wider than most at the shoulders. Its not uncomfortable and thats why i gave it 4 stars instead of a lower score.
Great hammock for the price, it holds 400 lbs, lightweight (although not ultra lightweight), very comfortable quality of sleep, just a tab bit narrow. Hope this helped someone, Thanks.

This is my first experience using a hammock. I was impressed with the quality of the material and workmanship in the Fox Outfitters Neolite single hammock.
Setup of this hammock is a breeze as it comes supplied with hang ropes and carabiners. The hang ropes are a little shorter than i would like, but that can easily be remedied by making some short sections to add on to them.
Since it is the dead of winter I set the hammock up in my basement. This is an amazingly comfortable hammock. It was so comfortable I decided to try it overnight. My only issue with the hammock was it was a little narrow for me but that will be remedied when I get the wider model. I can also attest that this hammock will safely hold over 350 lbs. as my Newfoundland dog decided to join me during my test.
Overall I am very pleased with this hammock and would recommend it. I will use it for day trips and for lounging in camp. For overnight use I would recommend the Fox Outfitters Neolite double hammock.
This is my third hammock and my first single hammock of this style. Overall, I am very pleased with the hammock and would definitely recommend it to others.
It appears very durable and comparable to other brands/models out there. Only time will tell how it holds up in the long run but it looks well made. Although it is not exactly tiny or incredibly light (there are other ultralight models out there that fit this description), it comes in a very compact package. The attached stuff sack is plenty big enough to fit the hammock and ropes without struggling to get them in. The included carabiners and pre-tied ropes mean you are good to go straight out of the package - they make set up a breeze. There are lots of color choices, and the larger size compared to some companies’ hammocks means it will more comfortably fit larger people. With that said, if you are tall (I’m 6’2”), you might want to consider getting the wider “double” model that will allow you to lay flatter diagonally in this hammock, especially if you are planning on sleeping in it. Also, while the included ropes are sufficient for hanging this hammock, I would recommend getting additional tree straps which do less damage to trees and will be more versatile when setting up your hammock (accommodate more tree sizes, distance between trees, etc). Polyester models like the ENO Atlas or Kammok Python straps won’t stretch and offer many attachment points for the carabiners. You could also upgrade the carabiners that come with the hammock, as they are a bit heavy compared to other climbing carabiners and have rough edges that could damage the hammock if not careful.
I would give the hammock a 4.5/5 if I could. Nicer carabiners and tree straps would make it perfect, but that would definitely bring the price up.
This is a really good hammock for a really good price. Compared to ENO (Eagles Nest Outfitters) hammock which is sort of the industry standard, the quality and thickness of the material and stitching appears to be the same. This single hammock is wider and longer than the ENO single nest and quite frankly, I feel like the size of this one is spot on compared to the ENO. It allows me to lay diagonally across the hammock with ease and still have lots of room. The included straps are adequate but a bit on the short side and will really limit your options for hanging your hammock. I had a hard time getting them around most of the ponderosa pines common out in the high desert of central Oregon and some of the oak trees common to most of the parks around here. Finding the ideal spot is a bit difficult with the included straps so I highly recommend you carry an aftermarket set, like the ENO Atlas Straps (regular or XL, I use the XL straps). I knocked them half a star for that because most hammocks more expensive than this one don't include straps but I feel like if you're going to include something as part of a package then they should perform. My biggest complaint and the other half star are the carabiners. They're very solid, probably a bit more solid than they need to be, adding substantial weight to the hammock (really important if you plan on backpacking with this as every ounce in your pack counts). Also, when you push the carabiner open the edges of the gate are extremely sharp and get caught up on the hammock strap causing snags if you're not careful. It's more of a nuisance than anything and quite honestly I could probably cure that with my Dremel and a polishing wheel and a little bit of polish. I'm happy with my purchase and happy with this hammock. For what it's worth I had a very small issue with the first one I ordered and the seller replaced it immediately with no questions asked. Great hammock, top notch customer service. I plan on buying a few as gifts.
