This weight reduction improves upon an already portable mattress that uses innovative die-cut foams to provide comfort and support where you need it most.
Our designs incorporate premium fabrics that include an internal polyurethane coating and durable air valves for years of use. Each pad is individually inflated and tested. Whether you're out for a weekend with the family or on a solo trip through challenging terrain, our self-inflating air mats will help you stay comfortable all night.
The mattress does not self inflate completely but it isn't hard to blow it up manually. I've slept on it a couple of times and it is nice and comfortable.

Needed something compact to take on the 2014 Rubicon Jeeper's Jamboree.
Very compact, surprisingly comfortable.

We ordered this mainly for my daughter to take on sleepovers. This gives her some cushion vs being on a hard floor.
She loved it and we were pleased at how easy it was to inflate and show her how to set up.

This self inflating pad (mattress) right out of the box came rolled up with a draw string carry bag, and repair kit (no instructions though (my only negative)).
I wasn't sure how to use the self inflating pad at first and even looked it up online (just to make sure not to ruin it).
After unscrewing the valve cap (the cap doesn't come off which is great, no loosing it while camping) the self inflating pad filled itself fairly tight / full in under 3 minutes. After tightening the valve cap to keep the air inside held tight with no leaks.
Inspection of the bottom of the pad is tough and durable and will hold up on almost any terrain you camp it seems. The top of the mattress is soft but also holds a sleeping bag to it so you don't slide off (another bonus).
I'm 6'2" 250 lbs and I was a little wary, but the length and thickness holds me very well and comfortable. The width is a little short if you have wide shoulders like myself, but very good overall after use (another bonus). The comfort series 100 is 25" wide x 77" long x 2" deep after inflated, it states that it weighs 3 lbs (maybe inflated), rolling the pad to deflate was quick and easy, I wish my sleeping bag was this easy!
This pad is light, portable and durable which will hold up and be great to use when camping solo or with the family. My wife and kids are sold on this item and we'll be getting more because its so much simpler and lighter than the typical air pump style mattresses, Plus no electric needed or hand pump to use!
I really like this sleeping pad.
I have owned several sleeping pads throughout my life, ranging from a piece of foam to self-inflating memory foam. I would say that this is my favorite so far.
-Durable: The material seems durable but I haven't owned this long enough to test long-term durability
-Comfortability: Very comfortable. I can get an excellent night of sleep with this.
-Packability: Although I wouldn't take this on an extended backpacking trip, this would be excellent for short-term tenting trips. Does not take much room in the vehicle after being stuffed in its sack with the two compression bands.
-Packability: Although I put this as a pro, it is also a con. This is not suitable for extended hikes. I would look for the smaller version of this sleeping pad for that.
-Length: I am 5'6" and received the long version and I fill out the entire space of it. Keep that in mind when ordering.
At the listed price, I see this as a solid purchase, and would recommend this. I would love to try the lightweight series sleeping pad as well, but can't rationalize getting another.

this mattress is very well made heavy duty construction . it was a little slow inflating the first time but seems to get better the more i use it very pleased with this product the only down side i have found is it could use a little more padding other than that a great product in my opinion
My first thought when I unpacked this mat was "durable". It self inflated quickly, stayed flat, had good loft and the next morning the mat was still holding its air. The mat deflated easily and I was able to roll it up tight with ease. Also it comes with two bands to keep it rolled up and a stuff sack with a pocket that includes a repair kit (nice touch). I will use this mat for my car camping or single night backpacking trips. The only reason I could not give 5 stars is that at 3 pounds I will not use it for my longer backpacking trips; just too much weight to pack for an extended trip.

I was impressed by how light this pad was for it's large coverage area. It is very thin and rolls up tight. The self-inflating needed a little bit of manual help blowing into the air valve to get it a bit thicker to handle my big guy weight. I'm sure if your a normal weight person the amount of self inflate thickness will be fine. The cloth-like non slip top is very comfortable to the touch. This will make a great insulation layer on the ground or in your hammock, if you are a hammock sleeper like me.

I tried this for my hammock and loved it. I had never used a self inflating mattress before. It's super easy to use, just open the tab and it starts inflating on its own. It is more comfortable and much warmer in my hammock than my ridgereast.
